Ramadan Tafsir

The objectives of this programme are to provide Muslims with:

Deeper study of the Qur'an
Preservation of the traditional mode of interpreting the Qur'an
Deeper understanding of Islam
Address emerging issues
Constant engagement with the society
To teach children Islamic knowledge and values during Ramadan
To socialise and bond during ramadan picnic

Journal of Islam in Nigeria (JOIN) is a bi-annual journal published by the Islamic Welfare Foundation (IWF). The aim of the journal is to research Islam and Muslims in Nigeria and provide an in-depth discussion on current developments and topical issues in all aspects of Shari’ah, including Muslim Family Law, Conflict Resolution, Contract, Banking, Human Rights, International Law and Terrorism, Islamic Economic Model, Islamic Political Issues and such others. read more..

Promotion of Islamic cultural values
Promotion of excellence among Muslim youths
Encouragement to take pride in Islamic cultural practices
Laying a solid foundation for Muslim children to comfortably adopt Islamic culture

Missionary Training Programme

The focus of this programme is to:

Equip Muslims Missionary with up-to-date Propagation techniques
Integrate IT into Islamic Propagation
Prepare and equip Missionary for leadership roles

Leadership Training and Mentorship

The centrality of objectives of this project borders on:

Preparing and equipping Muslims for leadership roles in the society
Promoting Islamic leadership values
Making Muslims in leadership position to be conscious of Islam

Advocacy

The Foundation’s objectives for this activity are:

Sensitisation of the general public on contemporary issues
Promotion of Islamic solutions

Family Retreat

This is an annual event that is used for recreation and family bonding among members.

National Retreat

An annual activity which the Foundation uses to review and reposition its programmes.

Correctional Centre Da'wah

This is a Pro Bono activity that IWF urges its members to voluntarily take part as the Foundation sees a twin benefit of indirect jihad and corporate social responsibility.

Inmates Liberation

This is a Pro Bono activity that IWF urges its members to voluntarily take part as the Foundation sees a twin benefit of indirect jihad and corporate social responsibility.

Members' Intellectual Development

The Foundation in collaboration with Islamic organisations looks to:

Deepen members knowledge of Islam
Provide the platform for professional mentorship and development

Islamic Finance (Welfare Micro Finance Bank)

The Foundation seeks to develop Welfare Microfinance bank to:

Promote Islamic mode of finance
Give access to IWF members and general public
Aggressive marketing of the bank
