2021 CONFERENCE ON ISLAM IN NIGERIA (COIN)

CALL FOR PAPERS

Health has a central place in all human endeavors. The World Health Organization (WHO) has advocated healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages. Despite advances in global health, including increased access to medical technologies such in world is facing an unprecedented economic, social and political crisis, with the spread of COVID-19. This pandemic has hit global market hard, weakening international trade and cooperation. However, the COVID 19 is not the only health burden, other non-communicable diseases are fast becoming major health (and economic) threats across the globe. While expanding access to healthcare services will be essential for the control of both communicable and non-communicable diseases, there is also a growing realization that new ways of cooperating, learning, and innovating will be necessary in the coming decades to achieve better health security for all. In order for health services delivery to accelerate gains in health outcomes it must continuously adapt and evolve according to the changing health landscape.

This year's COIN (Conference on Islam in Nigeria) conference aims to take stock of the developments in the literature from the Islamic perspectives on management of economic crisis and health services delivery, and lessons from the firsthand experiences. The conference seeks to explore the legacies of Islam and Muslims, in the management of economic and healthcare challenges in Nigeria.

Submission of Abstracts
Abstracts should not be more than 250 words using Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, 12 font. Arabic should be a traditional Arabic font 18. The title, Author(s), Institutional Affiliations, Mobile numbers and E-mail Addresses of the Author(s) should be included. Conference proceedings should be ready before the Conference.

Deadline for Abstracts submission is 30 September 2021. Acceptance of Abstracts will be communicated on 15th October 2021.
